After years of working in mental healthcare, I started working as a freelance psychologist at JebeNTR in 2022. My clients are referred by various clients and employers. In addition, more and more individuals are finding their way to my practice, which I’m very proud of. There’s no better advertising than word of mouth. And since I’m not particularly good at it, this is very convenient.
I keep coming back to the importance of the foundation in treatment.
Personal contact. Connection and truly seeing and hearing someone.
Psychoeducation is also crucial for gaining insight into problems, so that together we can determine which intervention(s) are appropriate and best suited to you. I’ll guide you step by step and teach you to involve your body in the process.
Balance and good cooperation between mind, body, and emotions are crucial for maintaining good health on all fronts.
We all carry our own history with us. Sometimes consciously, but also unconsciously, aware of the influence this has on our development and how it can even hinder us in the present. Through various interventions, such as IEMT (integral eye-moment therapy), I.R. (imaginal rescripting), and the creation of trauma fragments, traumas can be processed, and I see clients gain valuable insights. This creates space in your mind to approach it from different perspectives and put things into perspective. Your sense of identity is, as it were, updated, allowing you to approach/see and experience it from the perspective of a healthy adult.
For me, Vitaal Vooruit represents a holistic view and approach to health-related issues. For this reason, I joined and hope to contribute my expertise as a psychologist in the field of PTSD, anxiety, and burnout.
